A Wall Thimble must be used for all through-the-wall installations involving combustible construction. The thick wall thimble is designed to accommodate wall thicknesses for 6.5 ” to 11.5” and may be installed in direct contact with combustible framing, insulation and other materials. Dimension of plate at each end of thimble 12.5” square — diameter of thimble 7.5”.
