5/8" diameter Slick Rod is intended to be used for power sweeping. 36" long with large Buttonlok™ connector.

The 5/8" Slick Rod is very flexible, similar to a 7/8" black poly rod. However, It will bend further without kinking. It is a good size for masonry chimneys, and will handle offsets. Yet it is stiff enough to resist flopping excessively in all but the largest flues. For larger flues such as these, or for use with a chain whip or cable loops, our #7394 3/4" diameter Slick Rod is recommended.

The material used in these rods has a very slippery finish yet is very tough. It can be bent 180 degrees without kinking and resists scoring going over rough edges. It also resists heat buildup better than standard nylon, and performs well even in extremely cold temperatures.

This rod should be used with our #7345 drill adapter.
